Elden Ring Player Gets Sweet Revenge After Losing PvP Match

One Elden Ring player gets to bask in the satisfaction of sweet vengeance as they win against a couple of players they previously lost against. Elden Ring PvP can be a mixed bag, especially when players get into the exploits. While some exploits are now gone thanks to Elden Ring's recent update, that isn't keeping it from still being a frustrating experience for some players, as there are still builds and tactics players will use to win almost every time.

That's why PvP can also be a rewarding experience, as when a player finally gets that win, it can feel great, as seen with this player.

There are many builds that can dominate the battlefields of both Elden Ring's PvE and PvP. Magic is quite a popular choice, with many not even needing to get up close and personal to deal serious damage. Recently, whips have become more viable thanks to the recent Elden Ring update, as well as a slew of other weapon choices. However, there's always the classic build that can deal heavy amounts of damage with just one press of a button, that being the Greatsword build. If the stats are placed just right, a player can make a majority of an opponent's health disappear.

It was this Greatsword build that led to the player's death. In a post on r/Eldenring, user etrulzz uploaded a video of two encounters they had with the same players in Elden Ring's PvP. In the first, the player is instantly killed by a Greatsword blow, and the two opponents proceed to tea-bag the player's body, which must have been humiliating.

The opponent that killed them was using the Colossal Sword called the Greatsword, which has been known to deal plenty of damage with its attacks.

In the second part of the video though is when the Elden Ring player gets their revenge. Reportedly 30 minutes after the original encounter, there was another between the same players. In this second part, the player gets aggressive with their dual scythes, utilizing their jump attack to quickly finish the host and even kill their great sword-wielding buddy, despite still getting hit by the great sword's heavy attack, dealing a good amount of damage, but not enough to kill.

It's tough to go up against Greatsword builds in Elden Ring because if the player knows their stuff, they can even take down the likes of Malenia with just a Greatsword. However, it feels great to go up against such tough builds and win, especially after such a defeat as this one. Sometimes, all it takes is the will to keep going and keep fighting until victory is achieved, which is a theme with many of these soulslikes.
