In the Diablo IV Beta, dungeons are expansive areas located within the Fractured Peaks that are filled with enemies, loot, and other rewards; however, once a dungeon has been cleared, players may want to find a way to exit these areas as quickly as possible. The dungeon's overlord typically resides deep within the structure, in a section of the dungeon that is quite a distance from where the players initially entered. The unfortunate reality is that the room in which players defeat the primary boss of these locations does not have a quick ladder or doorway leading back into the larger world. As a result, players are required to figure out a way to escape on their own. Traveling back to the dungeon's entrance, which should be depicted on the party's map as an icon that looks like a gate, is the easiest and quickest way to escape from a dungeon in a hurry. In Diablo 4, completing a dungeon earns players a significant amount of Renown as well as other rewards; however, none of these treasures can be used until after the players have exited the dungeon. Players may be able to pick up some leftover gold from larger enemy herds that they missed the first time around or other pieces of loot that they did not see along the way if they choose to make their way back to the beginning of the dungeon on foot.

How to Emerge from Dungeons in Diablo IV More EfficientlyPlayers have the ability to quickly exit a dungeon in one of two ways: either by selecting the entrance to the dungeon from their map and selecting the Leave prompt, or by selecting the Leave Dungeon option from the Action Wheel Menu
On the PC, using the tab input opens up a map of whatever region the player is currently in
This provides a convenient shortcut that is analogous to Diablo IV's inventory or character skill point menu
Players have the option to leave the dungeon after a short period of time, which is indicated by a progress bar that builds up above a character when it is selected
This choice can be accessed by moving the dungeon map around and selecting the gate icon mentioned earlier
Although players are able to click on the entrance icon, using the Action Wheel is a much quicker option because it provides a choice right away
Players in buy D4 items (show details) have the ability to bring up the Action Wheel at any time by pressing the E input. This wheel provides a variety of options, including emotes, a camera zoom-in, invitations to other players, and even a way to turn off chat for the game. When players select the Leave Dungeon option, the same progress bar will appear as before, allowing them to quickly exit the dungeon in Diablo IV. This option can be found to the immediate right of the main menu, next to an image of stairs that have been broken.
